My beach thongs, i like this simple design~

24 mixed up~

See the Beach thongs above??They are three beach thongs of different colours-pink,blue,purple, but of same design i bought in Giant( RM 5.99/RM6.99/RM7.99).

You must be wandering why are these beach thongs of same design but different colour sold at three different prices as i stated above. The blue colour costs more or the pink ones? I myself also confused of the actual pricing for this Beach thongs. The signboard showing that they were all sold at RM5.99.

However, the price tags sticked with every pair of beach thongs were RM6.99. When i paid, The bill charged were RM7.99.What do you think??Of course, i logged a complaint and had a refund. The beach thongs were actually RM5.99 as at February 02,2008. Being overly charged was not really the main focus in this blog, it's that we, the consumers should be aware of the consumers' rights and obtain what is deserve for us, the consumers. If one consumer is being overly charged for RM 2, 100 consumers would be overly charged for RM 200, 1000 consumers would be overly charged for RM 2000...wow, then Giant is gotta be profitable every year~~In another perspective, if we were overly charged for RM 2 in every shopping spree, let's say we shop for 5 times per month, 60times per years, and we actually lost RM 120 in a year FOR NO REASON~~...Would u prefer to keep the RM 120 for donation or just it FLY away in this way???

Good News~~---> to ME

There's a good news that all lectures and tutorial(sad~~except for Japanese Language) to be called off for the CNY break which is on the coming week( Week 2 In MMU Trimester 3)..WOW...It's such a great relief for me as well as friends of mine who are taking the same course as me~Who wants to drive or walk all the way to the "deserted"campus just for a class~~in that moment of awaiting and celebrating our one-year-once Chinese NEW YEAR !!....Everyone is heading home~ to gather with family, relatives and long-time-no-see friends...Nobody would be around (i belief) if there were classes on....AND why ....Is the Japanese Language class on Wednesday evening is still continued???? Doesn't she realise that it is a CNY eve???NVM. ... we are going to be illegal imigrants for just one day... we would certainly go to the monday evening class for replacement...See~~ though we ( my gang of friends + me)like playing truant, we are still as rational as ever~~~~and that's MMU-ians Values--->Fee is high, go class and enjoy the aircon or you would regret!!

• Remarks:LOL, the shoes were actually the one she noticed and almost buying them. However, due to the dissatified quality of the shoes( the shoes is RM 59.90 and still...), she didn't buy it on that day. She really likes that shoes...so, we chose the best among the worst and the shoes are hers now!!Overall, the shoes are really more unique in design( if not, the three of us would notice them) The quality still okay for this pair.

• Mission: request information about the fees and schedules of the yoga learning sessions. We learned that there would be classes on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday as well as Friday evenings.Furthermore, there were two classes offered: Yoga traditional and Yoga Stretch
• Atmosphere: fully-furnished, spacious and soothing and elegant lighting
• Comment: I guess we would try one class of Yoga Stretch before we decided to register for the full session~
• SECOND Stepped on: Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Atmosphere: crowd was considerable, decorated with CNY theme

First day of Japanese Language Class

Yesterday(30 January) was the day we attended our first Japanese Language class in FBLR4021.Japanese is really not as easy as i thought. Its writing is divided into three catagories:Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. As explained by the lecturer, Madam Adeila Desu who had been studying her degree in Economics in Japan for five years, Katakana was used by gents whereas Hiragana was meant for ladies in the olden day of Japan. Japanese believed that ladies' handwriting should shows their demure and femininity. Hence, Hiragana which is more neatly and elegantly written was meant for female. However, in modern day, both writings are used. However, Katakana is only used for foreign words such as "McDonald". Moreover,our translated name is written in Katakana too. On the other hand, Kanji is the chinese characters. During their visit to China, Japanese found that Chinese were very creative as every word has its own originity.For instance, the word "xin"(heart) with three "dians"(dots) shows that our human heart actually have three main arteries and veins. Seeing the uniqueness of chinese characters, Japanese started to add in chinese characters in their language which is known as the Kanji today . I suddenly felt the pride of being born a chinese and being chinese educated~~In addition, we were taught the basic of Hiragana Writing...Gosh~ Do i need to memorise all those "words"..It's going to be hard~ but by hook or by crook i have to do it!!!!!!!Gambateh ne~~

• Food: Compared with Gitchen Kicthen( which is on the right hand side of the East Garden), the food are more recommendable.
• Menu: more choices, variables with recommendation, photos provided enable the customers to make their choice more easily.

the menu in amandarin and English versions, the red coloyr heart shapes beside the numbering are the recommendation for the customers

• Serving: Moderate. We, the 6 of us agreed that the waiter serving us was weird~ and unfriendly too.Moreover, i found there was no waitress there...Is this gender discrimination or what??
• Utitlities obtained:4 out of 5( decrease one due to overfeeding myself)
• Overall grading:4.5 out of 5

Back to campus life-DAY #1

Today(28January) was the first day of class begin. I woke up at 645am and ended up the lecturer not turning up~sweat~

For the English class, we were chasing around each other to fill up the "icebreaking" form, asking questions like "What's birthday present you'd like to have? ","my future spouse must be..." Don't you think that was so "wuliao"???However, we did enjoyed ourselves in the process of " you fill-in for-me-i-fill-in-for-you" as some of the answers were really creative and innovative. For instance, "If i were the President of MMU, i would...", Geera from Selangor answered " If i were the President of MMU, i would cancel off all the final exam~"heehee, smart act o~

After the two hours english class, we had our first Financial Accounting and Reporting one-hour class in studio B and we were sitting right behind in the room.Next time, we should turn up earlier and grab the front seats as we find difficulties looking clearly at the slide projector~~haizzz~~

if i were the President of MMU, i would firstly demolish the whole MMU and have a newly MMU with sophisticated escalators( so that we don't have to wait for the stupid slow-motion and always " in faulty" lifts)and fully- furnished buildings, lots and lots of carparks~ and autoadjusted aircondition in every lecture room...And every room should have a better than now slide projectors which would ensure the lecture slide is visible to ALL~

And the today lecture just end like that with the warning of" you better come to the Friday lecture as i would be teaching something important!"Frankly, we didn't really take her heed very seriously and seeing that it was the first day of campus life in MMU, we had our first small gathering at East Garden~~Let's refer to the next post which would be published soon~
